NMR/MRI ( Liquid Helium)
What is Helium?
With a value of 4.2 degrees Kelvin or -269°C, it has the lowest boiling point of any gas and as a result, liquid helium is the coldest matter on Earth.
This is what makes it ideally suited to be used as cryogen in a number of cutting edge applications including superconductivity in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), particle physics and other cryogenic applications. As a liquid, helium is supplied to the customers in special insulated ISO containers or (more commonly) in several sizes of dewars.
With next day service, logistics, and pricing, Middlesex Gases offer liquid helium for all the above applications.
We have partnered with Praxair Cryomag Services, so that customers experience the total service supply capabilities of cryogen, expert magnet maintenance, and industry leading technical service with just one phone call.
Through a single phone call, Middlesex Gases provides a full range of services that include:
- Helium - order and delivery
